Spring 2015

Have you noticed there are times in your life that it SEEMS that the Lord's timing is much slower than WE think should be? There is a month in the Hebrew calendar called Iyar...and we are smack dab in the middle of it. This is the month that we can ask the LORD to realign our timing to Heaven's time and order. May our days be ordered by your watch Father...

The year 2014 ended with a puzzling thing happening...a dear friend, father of 3 teenage boys, only 50 years old, died suddenly on a Saturday afternoon. Nancy flew to the Northeast to be with this family and ended up staying 2 months...she has been mother, mentor and grandmother for many years to this family. We are thrilled to say that Heavenly Father stepped into this painful circumstance and brought healing, comfort and answers to many questions. Sometime the only answer is "His ways are not my ways." That is enough for now...

Judy recently had another opportunity to attend a Skaters Reunion. So many, who are getting older, are realizing the thrill of skating and cheering of the fans is not satisfying and that there MUST be more to life. She has been given a voice that is being heard ... the Kingdom of God is on the move!!!

Judy was also asked to speak at Hope Recovery, a ministry to recovering addicts. I wish you could have been there to see their reaction. They could not believe that she had so much fire in her "for her age." (ha ha ha)

Nancy continues to minister/counsel in different parts of the country, staying with families in their homes. When she is here in Redding she ministers in her home office as well as spending hours on the phone.

Nancy and Victoria spent several days working closely with a church in mid-California. They ministered the Roots Seminar on Saturday ... extraordinary testimonies of supernatural healing and understanding were shared at the end when we opened the mic for people to declare what God had done throughout the day. One young woman shared after she spent some individual time with us:

"This Roots Seminar and the successive meetings are the "Miracle Grow" needed to produce our Harvest of Fruitfulness, and the results that we've been yearning and waiting for!!!"

For this we are extremely grateful ... there seemed to be an increase in healing responses and "ah, ha moments" from the people. As it says in Luke 5:17, "And it came to pass on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem, and the power of the Lord was present to heal them." So get ready ... this is a season of exponential increase in all of the work that the Holy Spirit does.

During the month of April we invited a pastor's daughter to come stay with us. She went through tremendous amounts of deliverance, fasting, in depth study of the Word, FORGIVING, FORGIVING, along with repenting for her responses and FORGIVING!!! It was worth every minute...she is heading back home with renewed hope, clarity and directions from Abba Father. She is forever changed!!!

We are still very involved in a wonderful group of people called Diamond Fellowship, which is becoming quite a multigenerational gathering. There has been a holy explosion of excitement, healing, the sweet fragrance of Holy Spirit and community. It has also been our pleasure to work with precious young people who have come to the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. What a joy to mentor/mother these young powerhouses.

It is such a gift to us to know you are praying and covering us in these times of ministry. We have been, and will continue to be, very grateful for your partnering with us in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

With Love and Blessings,

Nancy, Judy and Victoria

Summer 2014

This has been a year of a vast array of experiences with many precious people who have become our family. One being a group of wild and wonderful students from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry!

A dream of Victoria's has been to have a gospel choir....so this year in the Revival Group she works with she gathered a group of students and as you can see... became THE RG Gospel Choir!!!! I know it LOOKS like they weren't rehearsing...but with this amazing group's energy....they often began with a bit of exercise. And yes Victoria is right in the middle!!!!

Another part of the family is Diamond Fellowship - the foundation of Bethel Church. Victoria has had the honor of leading worship and ministering to this passionate and powerful group of seniors for 4 years now, and it has actually become a multi-generational group. Weekly there are many visitors from around the world who come to Bethel to be healed, refreshed and restored.

Judy has been working on her book about the journey she has been on for the past seventy years, while also keeping busy mentoring the local Roller Girl teams. This June she was invited to the Pro Wrestling World in Allentown, PA to represent the sport of Roller Derby and sign autographs and memorabilia - here she is pictured in action...

Nancy spent four months in Ohio ministering to individuals and families in crisis, as well as mentoring leaders. Here is a picture of Nancy and David, the courageous young man who went through the court system to see a man who had molested many, get the justice he deserved.

Nancy and Judy spent a month this spring on the east coast ministering in churches and to individuals. Both are pictured here in Long Island, NY teaching Roots - our Seminar on Forgiveness.

Psalm 32:8 "I will instruct and teach you in the way you should go....I will guide you with my eye!" May you see His eye on you today and be refreshed by His presence....

With Love and Blessings,

Nancy, Judy and Victoria

Winter 2013

It has been awhile since we’ve updated you on our ministry & our lives. On the Hebrew Calendar we are in the year 5774 that began on Rosh Hashanah in September. The meaning of this year ... To look, and then LOOK again ... Look for the new opportunities and open doors ... Look again to see the miracles the Lord is doing in front of our eyes. To look for victories in the midst of destruction. It is a year that is mentioned in Isaiah 43:18 & 19 ...

"Stop dwelling on the past events and brooding over times gone by; I am doing something new; it’s springing up - can’t you see it!? I am making a road in the desert and rivers in the wasteland!!" (The Jewish Bible)

For the three of us this year has been one of change and expansion. Nancy has begun to travel, OFTEN ... especially to Ohio and the states around that area. She has had a tremendous opportunity working with a specific family in bringing healing to every member because of a sexual abuse situation in their church that almost destroyed them all... BUT the Lord performed miracle after miracle bringing wholeness and life from the dead. She continues to work with them and many others connected with this family.

Judy is in the midst of writing a book about her life and the incredible healing and deliverance of the Lord. This has been a dream she has had for years and the door opened for her to work with several people who are helping and encouraging her in this exciting venture. She is in New Jersey ministering to the hundreds who knew her when she skated... there has been a new mantle of anointing that brings quick response to the Gospel in recent months. He is making roads in the desert for many... now is the time!!! Judy also attended a skating reunion for her team the Philadelphia Warriors.

Victoria has stayed in Redding working with our church - Bethel Church. There is a powerful group of people called Diamond Fellowship that began as a "senior" group. Today it is a multi-generational fellowship of seasoned, passionate, and precious people who are the cherished members of the church. The Bethel School of Ministry students are often found in the midst of Diamond Fellowship because they desire to be in the presence of GREATNESS and favor and be loved by "moms" and "dads." We have been asked to be a part of the Revival Groups in the ministry school, so we are all in different groups of about 65 students that become like a home fellowship. It has been a tremendous blessing hugging, loving, mentor ing and counseling these students. It is a pleasure to pour what we have learned into this next generation. Victoria has also made several ministry trips to Reno, Nevada ... a pleasure to go back to roots and pour in life.

We pray that your Christmas and New Year is filled with God’s love, joy and perfect peace.

With every blessing and lots of love,

Nancy, Judy and Victoria

Winter 2012

It has been awhile since we’ve updated you on our ministry and our lives. 2012 has been a year full of ministry opportunities and many blessings.

Nancy's Update: This has been a wonderful year for me personally. My daughter Wendy who lives here in Redding, has been sober for two years with one slip! Thanks to all of you who have prayed for her over the years.

The most miraculous experience has been walking beside a 29 year old man from Ohio who was raped by a Christian camp counselor and Sunday School teacher from ages 11 to 13. To watch God touch and heal the deepest parts of his heart and memories, to see him begin to forgive and heal, to watch the family come together after 18 years of separation, confusion, pain and fear, to be right in the middle of a modern day transformation is such a privilege. I have made 3 trips to Ohio, spending 6 weeks counseling and ministering, preparing for and attending the trial, and now helping him begin a new life. I will return in January for another visit. This ministry to one family has opened many doors to teach and share with individuals, couples and churches. Ohio is becoming my second home!

I continue to minister at Bethel School of Super Natural Ministry and pray with people from around the world as part of the Pastor On Call team at Bethel Church.

Judy's Update: God continues to use me in the Roller Derby arena and has opened more doors to speak at numerous Churches back in Hawaii where I visited again this past spring. Many who remembered me when I skated there years ago attended the meetings, and I know God touched hearts through my testimony. It was an amazing trip surrounded by so much of God's beauty!

This past summer, thanks to friends and family who supported me - I was able to attend another Joni and Friends Camp for families touched by disability. It was such an honor to be used to simply be a friend and give of my time and love to others. I witnessed young people who were there to serve the families with all their hearts, and it blessed me to watch the love and patience these young people had for the campers. I came away from camp with a greater appreciation of our young men and women who are choosing to live a life that pleases Jesus. As always I went to camp to be a blessing and came home so blessed by the experience.

I also attended a Roller Derby reunion in Philadelphia this fall and had a great time with friends and fans from my days skating professionally with the Philadelphia Warriors. I thank God for how He continues to use me as I see His influence on my life touching others so often. Many have reached out to me through Facebook connections and my web site - people I never knew or haven't heard from in years have contacted me to say thank you for being a positive influence and inspiration to them. I can't express how humbling and honoring it is to know how God has used me and my skating career since I gave my life to Jesus 39 years ago. My desire has always been to know Him and make Him known to others. God has loved me with such an unconditional love it is my heart to share that love. I bless the Lord for providing so many opportunities in the world of Roller Derby, along with today's social media, to share my heart and His love with so many.

Victoria's Update: This has been an extraordinary year, filled with great adventure AND “OUCH….Wow that hurt!” In the last two weeks I am walking unaided after almost five months of healing from a fractured Femur at the knee joint. The incredible blessing is I still was able to spend time with all the young ladies I am mentoring and walking with through healing. It is such an honor to minister to these girls who are in the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. Most of them have been severely abused in one way or another, from being in sex trafficking to being sexually and physically abused by a father who is a pastor. They have become my kids and I deeply love them.

Another wonderful gift has been the honor of leading worship weekly for Diamond Fellowship at Bethel. These folks are the foundation of the church, passionately running after the Kingdom of God and believing we are on the verge of the greatest Revival the world has known AND it will begin with us. There is such a heavy presence of the Lord each week, healings, and revelation of deep truths, one is never too old to be in the forefront of Revival! I am GRATEFUL for all the opportunities that have opened up this year!

May your Christmas and New Year be filled with God’s love, joy and perfect peace.

With Love and Blessings,

Nancy, Judy and Victoria

Fall 2011

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, bless His name. ~Psalm 100:4

The Hebrew word for thanksgiving is Yadah, meaning to lift the hand declaring gratitude, thanks and honor. We are tremendously blessed to live in this country where we are free to worship and we are thankful for each one of you!

In October Victoria lead worship throughout a Saturday leadership meeting with a church here in Redding. There was a growing sense of the Presence of the Lord….His rest and His revelation as the pastor, elders and other leaders worshipped. The church administrator wrote the next day saying “My own prayer for the day was for deep healing in my heart and finding what God has for my life - restoring the passion for ministry I have unintentionally mislaid. Thank you once again and a thousand times more, for giving to the Lord, to all of us…and to me.”

The next weekend Victoria drove to Reno, Nevada to minister at an Aglow International meeting. After worship she shared from Luke 1 where the Lord emphasizes we are never “too old” or “too young” to have the miraculous fulfilled in our lives. Even those prayers we stopped praying years ago because we felt like it seemed impossible ….HE HAS HEARD AND WILL ANSWER IN HIS PERFECT TIME. Incredible to know His Divine Ability!!! Hearts were healed with that revelation. WE ARE GRATEFUL!!!

Nancy and Judy spent 3 weeks in New York and New Jersey visiting friends and family. Nancy was able to see her 2-year-old great granddaughter for the 1st time! We arrived at our ministry administrator, Karen Grant’s home in the middle of a flooded basement caused by roots growing in the main water line. We salvaged lots of things including a vacuum cleaner that we placed on the curb. No sooner had we placed the items out on the curb when a woman stopped and asked how much we wanted for the vacuum cleaner. Nancy told her it was FREE and was able to explain the FREE gift of God. She received more than just a vacuum cleaner! God is perfect in His timing! Karen needed help and the woman needed salvation. I love how the Lord uses everyday situations to bring people into the Kingdom.

We have had several unexpected expenses; our water line broke and leaked $300 worth of water; our oven is broken, washing machine is acting up and our front sprinkler system stopped working . . . we’re thankful for your help with these.

Thanks to each one of you for your love, support and prayers.

Blessings,

Nancy, Judy and Victoria

Winter 2011

Victories, testimonies, stories of the Lord’s glory...that is what this year has been about. ALL praise and honor belong to the Lord who gives life and heals!!!! Nancy has recovered fully!! Thank you for praying; we are so grateful. Two weeks into the New Year we ministered the Roots Seminar in the Redding area. Here are a few of the glory stories:

“The walls of anger and disappointment I’ve been feeling have been a result of feeling rejected by God…He didn’t fulfill my expectations (according to my perception)…thus my needing to forgive God. I have had problems of late with my prayer life due to my guilt, anger, disappointment….I said to the Lord, ‘I’m not going to talk to you anymore!’ Thank you Lord I can pray again!!!”

“This seminar has helped me realize that I was holding bitterness in my heart toward my husband. I believed the lie that his mistakes and shortcomings caused me to have a broken relationship with God. I forgave Him and repented….Hallelujah!!!”!

“I saw a need in my life to forgive myself for allowing relationships, past events and people who hurt me to continue affecting me for so long….and for how I affected my family. I forgave myself and THANK YOU GOD for Your forgiveness!”

On January 16 we left for a seven week trip to Houston, Texas…..first stop….San Francisco where we had a chance to visit Judy’s sister-in-law who has been in the burn unit for 200 days since being severely burnt in the San Bruno explosion. She is a miracle and knows it….AND knows our friends are praying…THANK YOU!

Our ministry in Houston began January 22 with the Strategic Prayer Group. The day was spent in worship and prayer for the land…ending in communion together and pouring it out on the land. This group has been praying together for many years. During our time we spent many hours pouring into this team…praying for their brains, helping them to forgive and teaching them how to live with burden bearing. Here are a couple of the life-changes…….

“THE NIGHTMARES HAVE DISAPPEARED!!” . . . that involved an evil man who was always trying to catch her….the night after we prayed, the man passed by her three times but he couldn’t find her!

One lady had problems sleeping….after ministry she began sleeping through the night!

During a weekend Roots seminar We saw miracle after miracle as individuals realized that forgiveness is complete only when there is repentance for one’s own anger, hatred, bitterness, revenge and murder in one’s heart. We met a pastor who finally had begun to heal from being molested, but still had immense pain. He had forgiven, but never asked the Lord to forgive him for his response. We spent more time with him and his wife….walking through their painful circumstances. They have been set free and are passionately pursuing wholeness for their whole church…the TRUTH makes us free.

Another family had some painful memories of loosing 2 babies right before their birth. Soon after, the young mother began having seizures and was put on heavy medication that made her sleepy all the time. We prayed for her brain…walked her through forgiveness….and blessed her spirit. She was so energized that it was very hard for her to go to bed. She had spent years making herself stay awake and dragging through days. Within days the Lord told her to give up the medicine. She has not had any more seizures and is rejoicing!

The next weekend we traveled to Scottsville, TX to minister the Redemptive Gifts of Individuals at The Kenshire School of the Prophets. There seemed to be an active resistance in the atmosphere during the weekend; that is one of the reasons why we are so grateful for your partnering with us and praying for God’s sovereign work to be completed. During the first session Victoria lost her voice during worship…but kept going in a whisper. The presence of the Lord was so sweet….many were weeping, even the men….one young lady in the back could hardly stand, so she fell into her chair and was filled with the Spirit…and started speaking in her Heavenly Language. During one session’s question and answer time, a man said “WHY is this not being taught in churches, it is so life-changing?” The excellent thing is…..it is!!! Here are some other testimonies of God’s grace:

A man who had been severely abused as a child forgave his father, beginning a path of healing. He felt his mind was being healed of memory loss…. Immediately, he began boldly praying for other men’s healing!

A pastor and his wife began walking in forgiveness toward their daughter-in-law who left their son and their daughter’s fiancé who left her. She went home and called some friends, walking them through forgiveness.

Another man realized he had been abusive emotionally to his wife, causing her to leave him. He also realized he had extremely wounded his oldest daughter, breaking her spirit because of his anger. This family finally has a chance to heal and survive! PRAY FOR THEIR RESTORATION!

It was a privilege to work with the precious ones in Texas….it is a privilege to walk alongside of you in bringing the Kingdom of God to the United States of America. At any point of time there is the possibility of disaster, as we have seen in the recent destruction of Japan and other areas of the world. It is time to share the TRUTH of the Gospel with those we come in contact with daily in our lives. May you see what your part is in bringing the Kingdom of God to your city.

We had an unexpected expense on our trip to Texas; the transmission in the RV died and had to be rebuilt; costing us $3,800. Thank you for your gifts, prayer support, and words of encouragement. If the Lord has impacted your life through our ministry, we would love to hear from you. Our LORD REIGNS and HIS KINGDOM RULES OVER ALL!!

Blessings,

Fall 2010

“You will keep in perfect peace (Shalom, Shalom), the one whose mind is leaning on and takes a hold of You, because they trust in YOU….” Isaiah 26:3

Seasons…..the ebb and flow of life is constantly changing…it is the time between seasons that seems to be confusing….this verse from Isaiah is an amazing reminder of the nearness of the Lord….at ALL TIMES!

In February Victoria auditioned for Senior Idol of Northern California. There were several levels of competition leading up to the final night at the Cascade Theater. With a full house, 1600 people… many from our church….she won the title of Senior Idol! Many opportunities have opened and we are praying that even more will. Visit our Events page to read and watch Victoria’s winning performance.

In May we had planned to go to the Roller Derby reunion in Laughlin, NV. It did not work out, so in July, Judy decided to attend Joni and Friends camp for families affected by disabilities. Such a pleasure to serve these amazing people who have been labeled as “disabled.” Interesting how one goes to camp to BE a blessing and returns home having been GREATLY blessed! In this same month Victoria had the opportunity to teach the Seven Hebrew Words for Praise to a group of passionate worshippers in one of the mountain towns here in the Northstate of California. Worshiping WITH understanding brings a new level of depth and intimacy in worship.

In August we had some dear friends from Baltimore, MD spend 8 days with us. Three boys: 15 years, 11 years, and 8 years old….Powerful, Kingdom of God minded young men. There were several days we just spent in prayer….praying for brains, the filling of the Holy Spirit AND in worship. Of course there were the days of hiking, playing games and swimming. After church one Sunday the youngest went up for prayer to be a mighty warrior for the Lord….WOW!

This year has been hard physically for Nancy. She has had pneumonia, pleurisy, viral infection, 1 liter of fluid was removed from around her heart, ½ liter from her lungs. . . many doctors later, they still are not sure what the bottom line issue is. She has continued ministering from her bed…whether on the phone or to people that come by for prayer and counsel. All of this, plus her daughter has been here for seven months of rehab and counseling for alcohol abuse. Please keep them both in your prayers for total healing.

Last weekend we taught, once again, the Roots Seminar in a Church just north of Redding. There were several churches involved. Tremendous testimonies were shared as people “caught” the Truth of forgiveness and repentance for their responses. This church is asking us to teach this quarterly….we are thankful!

We have had several unexpected expenses in the last few months; over $3,000 in RV and auto repairs. We appreciate your prayers and financial support of this ministry more than you will ever know.

During this Thanksgiving celebration we bless you with a refreshing, and new sense of HIS Kingdom coming to earth, through you.

Blessings,

Nancy, Judy and Victoria

Fall 2009

“Then they that feared the LORD spoke often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, says the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son that serves him.”Malachi 3:16 & 17

We are overflowing with gratitude!! The Lord has been blessing us abundantly by bringing people into our home, or allowing us to “go to them.” There has been so much healing and restoration that it is hard to know what to share.

Our friend Kara started a worship service tailored to meet the needs of families affected by disabilities. What a joy to go up to a tired out mom and tell her that it’s okay if her little boy with Autism is running all over the church, that this is his worship time and she doesn’t have to be all stressed out trying to get him to sit still and be quiet. Judy has shared her testimony and Victoria has led “exuberant” worship services. To read inspiring testimonies check out Kara’s new website www.iamviable.com and be sure to have the Kleenex nearby when you watch the videos.

We had the privilege of ministering in our home to a young couple from another state. He had been a pastor for 8 years and was at the place of “Lord what do you want next?” The current financial crisis has hit their family big time; the church had been unable to pay their salary, they are losing a rental home and their own home was in foreclosure. But God. . . . . !! They have had some tremendous breakthroughs after generational prayer.

A women who is on staff at a large church in the East spent 10 days with us. She is in charge of their healing ministry, wanting to be mentored, besides desiring some personal ministry and healing for herself. She went home transformed!!

A highlight of our week is our Monday night Bible Study we teach via a telephone conference call. This class was started about a year ago when Judy lead a Roller Derby fan to the Lord. Soon others in her family accepted Christ as their Savior and they decided to read the bible through in a year. Two other new believers and a 15 year old young man who is running passionately after the Lord joined in. We are currently reading and studying Proverbs

TESTIMONIES from ROOTS SEMINARS

A women whose family has been ripped apart by molestation and unforgiveness… with many trying to make family members “choose sides” . . . . started to forgive everyone involved. The very next day some of these relationships were healed.

A young mother with three children by three different men was able to forgive the men who had molested her.

A deeply wounded young teen from a broken home was able to begin the forgiving process that will forever change her life.

The Lord downloaded a list of people that a women needed to forgive. For the next 1 1/2 hours she forgave them. Results?

  1. She and her husband who never talk spent 3-4 hours the next night talking. She found out things about her husband that she never knew.
  2. Her daughter asked her out to lunch. . . Very Unusual!!!
  3. Her 14 year old grandson gave her a hug. His mother was shocked because he NEVER does this!

ROLLER GIRLS! Some of you may have been hearing about the new sport, Roller Girls. This is much like Roller Derby but the big difference is that they skate on a flat track. Judy has been attending their games and has also “guest coached” the team. More about this later. Please keep this ministry in prayer.

A month ago we had the refreshing opportunity of spending a week with some long time friends in Nevada, all of them leaders in ministry. Our purpose was to teach some of the amazing “truths” we have learned in the last few years about the Redemptive Gifts, about how near Heaven is when we worship, and something we have been doing often recently, praying for brains. The Lord is healing the organic brain as we lay hands on heads, and bringing healing to the cells and in turn, the memories. This has been such an adventure and we have seen miracles in the people we have prayed for in this way. One leader we prayed for recently said that her mind is finally at rest….no voices…no speeding thoughts flying around her brain….just peace. NOW, that is a verifiable miracle!!! We just received word of another amazing testimony. We prayed for a young man who was having an extremely frustrating time in his college calculus class. To add to his pain, his dad was a college Math professor. After we spent some time praying for his brain he began to quickly catch the principles of calculus….and to top that….he has begun sharing strategies with his dad. Now THAT is COOl!!!

Last week we spent 5 days in Reno, ministering at a leadership meeting, two Women’s Aglow and a Teen Aglow. We prayed with a woman who had carbon monoxide poisoning about 15 years ago. Because of this she had to learn to walk and many other skills all over again. Even her skill with playing the piano was lost. As we prayed for her brain the “fogginess” in her mind began to lift and today is totally clear and remembering much more. A whole new life!! A young teen with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome was set free. The next day she said “I’m walking on air. I can’t get the smile off of my face, but I’m not really trying.” You are a part of each life-changing miracle. During this season of Thanksgiving…..we say “Thank YOU for your partnering with us!”

Blessings,

Nancy, Judy and Victoria

Fall 2008

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it (HIM) and is safe.” Proverbs 18:10

We are in a time in history when we are seeing the words of the Bible being fulfilled on every side. Wars and rumors of wars, great shaking of the earth and storms, financial confusion and death of the innocent….all with the surrounding promise of a precious and safe place we can run to, the name of the Lord IS a strong tower. We are safe in the Kingdom of God.

This summer was a busy one, filled with travel and many tremendous opportunities. But before we share some of those experiences, we would like to remind you of how important you have been to this ministry and the “much fruit that is remaining.” We received word from Argentina, where Nancy and Judy ministered in 2002. They taught the Roots Seminar, about forgiveness, several times and left extra workbooks for them to use, which in turn they translated into Spanish. One was given to a pastor from Chile, who then shared it with all his children and congregations. One daughter had not been able to conceive, and so wanted a baby. After working through Roots and realizing that the anger that had been stuffed inside for so many years had actually separated her from God…….she was able to pray and receive the wonderful release that comes when you get rid of the roots of bitterness. She now has a beautiful baby girl. The family is thrilled and grateful! Thank you for your part!

We were blessed to be a part of Joni and Friends Family Camp again this year. As we were traveling, we had a “near” collision with the car in front of us. (It is not easy to stop an RV!) Victoria had just stood up to grab something and because Judy had to break very fast and hard, she went flying forward, hitting the console and fracturing her arm. Victoria is a trooper; in spite of her “disability” she went ahead and led worship, using one hand. When we are the weakest He shows off and displays who He is. The worship was extraordinary; His presence was so very real. Can you imagine a room full of people of all ages, with varying disabilities, all gathered together to worship…..each one bringing their “joyful noise” before the throne? It was an experience we will never forget.

One other highlight from that week. A mother came to camp with her daughter who has Cerebral Palsy. During the week, her Short Term Missionary, who was assigned to be her helper, spent many hours patiently listening as she shared her heart. She felt that her Mother didn’t realize that she had things that were bottled up inside of her that she wanted to be able to express. When her Mom heard this, she just burst into tears and asked her daughter’s forgiveness. Both of their lives will be changed forever. The time consuming care for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of a person with disabilities is beyond our imagination. Pray for the multitude of families around the world affected by disability, that they will know Him and the power of His resurrection that is available for them as they minister to those in need.

Towards the end of June we were asked to help out in the Vacation Bible School at our church. Once again we had such a good time celebrating the Lord with movement in praise and worship. The children and their parents joined in with such passion…they didn’t want to go home. Their joy was contagious and our prayer is, that at this critical time in history, the Body of Christ will understand in a new way that “the joy of the Lord is their strength.”

We spent a weekend in the mountains of northern California, sharing the Roots Seminar with a group of women of all ages…..a 90 year old was so blessed by the freedom God gave to her when she was able to forgive and let go of the anger and hurt that she had lived with for so long. Another woman felt the presence of Holy Spirit throughout the entire day. She was overwhelmed by the experience, not quite understanding what was happening to her. She went home and shared what she felt and realized that this was Holy Spirit; His manifest presence bringing God’s Kingdom to her earthen body and her soul. Many learned how and began the process of releasing all of the self-hatred that they had carried around inside for so many years. This is one of the hardest things for us to do. There is usually something that we hold against ourselves and we feel “if only I hadn’t made that choice or that decision,” I could live with myself. If you are struggling in this area, give us a call and we would be glad to pray with you. (530-223-1826)

We just returned from a week in Los Angeles, CA. Victoria had the honor of leading worship at the Joni and Friends President’s Retreat. This was held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Laguna Niguel on the Pacific Ocean. What a blessing to experience the sound and smells of the Pacific Ocean, the beauty of the tropical landscape and wonderful food. But even greater was the blessing of meeting wonderful Christians from all parts of the USA who have a heart for the Lord and the disabled, feasting at the table of spiritual food that the Lord prepared for us. Judy was also able to minister in Pasadena at her home church, touching base with friends she hadn’t seen in quite some time.

In September we traveled to the New Jersey/New York area for 10 days. Nancy was able to share the Roots Seminar with her two Grandsons who are in their twenties, and several of their friends. They were able to forgive and release a lot of past hurts. The boys had asked Christ to be their Savior as children, but they had never asked Him to take control and be Lord of their lives. They both prayed and surrendered their whole lives to Him. Matt, 21 years old, is addicted Marijuana. Pray that he will go into the Teen Challenge Program and be set free. One of their friends accepted Christ!

We continue to spend many hours a week counseling and mentoring people here in Redding and across the USA and collecting wheelchairs for Wheels For The World. Our bi-monthly Conference Call is another avenue of service to the Body of Christ.
